Paige trained with here at Oh My Glow in June 2023, she completed our Skin Specialist Advanced Course which covers Facials, Dermaplaning, Chemical Peels, Microneedling, Anatomy and Physiology. Our advanced course also offers a business booster day, access to the ‘Skcin’ cancer charity skin awareness course and access to our exclusive ‘Skin Society’.
Paige started her business ‘The Skin Pro’ and offers clinics in Baldwins Gate and Nantwich, Cheshire. She quickly gained a following of over 400 people on her Instagram (@theskinpro_) and already has a loyal client base all obsessed with the results they are getting. Paige has shown a true dedication to the industry, even though she is also working a full time job.
What made you want to come into the skincare industry?
‘I’ve always had such a passion for skincare from having my own skin issues. Seeing how other brands market their products and how girls have such a hard time finding the right products for them and treating their own skin, I just wanted to be a part of that and help people find the key to treating their concerns. I can see how rewarding it is from being treated at Oh My Glow myself, I want to be able to deliver that to my own clients and help them on their journey, boosting their confidence and giving them their glow back.’
What made you choose to train with Oh My Glow?
‘After being treated at Oh My Glow personally I saw first hand the support that I got and I knew this would continue when I entered the industry. I am now apart of ‘The Skin Society’ the support couldn’t be any better. We have so much support and knowledge offered to us, during or outside working hours. The girls experience, knowledge and expertise is just unmatched’
What has been the highlight of your journey so far? (During training or after training)
‘This is such a difficult question for me to answer, I just feel like everything in the industry is so exciting. I love seeing the transformations of my clients, the knowledge I am gaining and the support I am getting from the community of girls behind me. Obviously the clients are my biggest highlight if I did have to choose one, but even just building my brand and business and client base is so exciting. I just can’t wait to see what is coming next.
What has been the biggest challenge you have faced and how did you overcome it?
‘I would say my biggest challenge is my own skin and my confidence with my skin. It is a difficult journey that you are on, and it is definitely a journey, it’s a trust the process moment. But with that said, training within the industry has allowed me to boost my confidence and my knowledge by navigating myself through this journey as well as with help from Oh My Glow. I do think I have overcome this insecurity by understanding that what you see on Instagram and the filtered pictures, it’s not real – everyone has bad skin days and everyone has a journey that they are going on. Whether that’s just to improve your skin health or treat a skin concern. Overcoming my own journey has helped me to steer client’s through theirs.’
Would you recommend training with Oh My Glow to others?
‘100%, It’s the best decision that I’ve ever made. Oh My Glow has changed by skin but it has also changed my career and I just can’t thank them enough'
What is one piece of advice you would give to someone newly joining the skincare industry?
‘I would say treat it as being an acne patient, you’re always being told to trust the process, it is a journey and I think building a business within any industry is always going to be a process. Just be kind to yourself and take time for yourself. Don’t try and rush through it – It will come. I was always told this whilst I was training and afterwards. But it definitely is a journey – just enjoy it.’

Adele trained with us on our August 2023 Skin Specialist Advanced course. This course covers Facials, Dermaplaning, Chemical Peels, Microneedling, Anatomy and Physiology. Our advanced course also offers a business booster day, access to the ‘Skcin’ cancer charity skin awareness course and access to our exclusive ‘Skin Society’. Adele has been in the beauty industry for a long time and decided to broaden her treatment offering and complete our training. Adele has a following of over 300 on Instagram and offers treatments such as Gel Nails, Lash Lifts, Brow Lamination and now facials. She has taken to the skincare industry like a duck to water and is already getting incredible results for her clients. With a rapidly growing client base Adele is always fully booked up and this is her full time job. She has made her passion into her career.
What made you want to come into the skincare industry?
‘I have always loved all things skincare and beauty even from a young age. Although I’ve never had acne I’ve always suffered from hormonal breakouts. I always knew they would clear up in time but when they appeared I found myself using any products available on the market not truly understanding how damaging these products were to my skin. I embarked on a journey to look after my own skin with Holly at Oh My Glow and from there I got the bug. I knew as soon as Holly told me she was going to be offering training I had to offer medical grade skincare to my portfolio.’
What made you choose to train with Oh My Glow?
‘After my first appointment with Holly I was in awe of her understanding and knowledge of skin care and people’s skincare concerns. I knew from that moment, when she started offering training that it was a no brainer – who better to learn from than the best.’
What has been the highlight of your journey so far? (During training or after training)
‘One of the highlights has been learning about the amazing benefits of medical grade skincare. It’s all about using professional grade products that are formulated with powerful ingredients and backed with scientific research. These products can really transform your skin and give visible results. It’s been so exciting to dive deep into the world of skincare and discover the impact that these products can have on our skins health and appearance.’
What has been the biggest challenge you have faced and how did you overcome it?
‘The biggest challenge of my journey has been making the jump into a new industry, I truly believe I have not experienced many other challenges yet due to the support and knowledge that Holly and her team at Oh My Glow have provided.’
Would you recommend training with Oh My Glow to others?
‘I would absolutely recommend training with Oh My Glow to newbies and those already in the industry. Holly and her team gave me the foundations as well as some tips and tricks in the industry – which are invaluable to learning.’
What is one piece of advice you would give to someone newly joining the skincare industry?
‘One piece of advice I would give to a newbie in the industry is – ‘Take every high and celebrate it and take every low and learn. Hiccups in the road are completely normal and a massive part of learning. All of these will help you mould into the perfect skincare specialist”’
